This week: Vintage Camera Bag
I haven’t really gone exploring on a proper roundabout jaunt of a photowalk since 2013 started, until Friday, that is. The bag that I was carrying with me that day was a vintage leather-cut camera bag from Eaton’s, that has the label ‘Optina’ inside… according to my mentor, the label refers to a type of Super-8(???) camera from the unknown abyss years before the 1990s har har.. Google searches lead to the assumption that it’s a Germany-based camera and there is another camera (mis-named?) as ‘Optima.’
Overall, it’s a snug and cozy fit for my essential items.. like a card wallet, flat Gama-go coin purse that acts as a keyfob with keys, re-useable $1 Starbucks mug and, obviously, my dinky digital camera with a case of spare extra batteries. Maybe I’ll post the photos in a few days on my photography blog.
